We created Kava Kava out of our passion for the beauty and understated elegance of traditional Chinese furniture. But we discovered that many of our favorite pieces simply didn’t fit many of our homes’ requirements. Why can’t Chinese furniture be both elegant and functional?

The Kava Kava home collection creates harmony between classic Chinese wood furniture and the requirements of a modern home, resulting in furnishings that are both functional and stylish.

Our designs are rooted in function and later given Chinese accents. Signature pieces include a shoe cabinet resembling a traditional wedding chest, a Shanxi inspired wine cabinet and a home theatre system is designed with special lacquered door ends.
